For this show, Mark has added award winning banjo player Mike Munford to the Good Medicine lineup. Opening the event that day will be The High and Wides, a hard driving bluegrass band from the DelMarVa area (featuring Good Medicine's own Nate Grower.)

Sun, AUG 18 thru Sat, AUG 24 - SAMW - Summer Acoustic Music Week

Mark will be teaching Intermediate/Advanced Flatpicking Guitar and Intermediate Mandolin during Week Two.

Sponsored by WUMB Radio in Boston, Massachusetts, SAMW offers an exuberant week of intensive instruction, jamming, workshops, concerts and musical collaboration with instructors attuned to the needs of each student. Class topics include Flatpicking and Fingerstyle Guitar, Fiddle, Dulcimer, Mandolin, Voice, Blues Styles, Performance, and Songwriting, as well as the opportunity to learn sound reinforcement skills. Community dancing is also a playful component of the program.

Learn acoustic, flatpicking guitar with Roberto Dalla Vecchia and Mark Cosgrove

Roberto's Acoustic Guitar Camp is a five-day residential picking workshop for acoustic guitar musicians. It is held in the scenic town of Falcade on Italy’s Dolomites, close to nearby Venice airport.

Guitarists come from all over the world to create an international community of musicians, all living together and sharing the learning experience. The non-competitive atmosphere and well-balanced program provide students with the perfect setting for learning flatpicking style, taking chances, and interacting with other musicians. All students will have classes with both Roberto and Mark.
